COVID-19 : HON. OILER COMMENDS GOVERNMENT EFFORTS TO COMBAT COVID-19 , URGES CITIZENS TO STAY SAFE
My dear people of Oyo State ,
It is no more a breaking news that Covid-19 has found it way to Nigeria .
The novel coronavirus emerged in Wuhan, China last December and has spread to at least 169 countries and territories.
As as speak to you , there 111 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria according to statistics.
Thus makes it a common problem to everybody living in this country even globally.
And as a concern citizen , I understand the fact that federal Government is not folding its hands on this issue. And also that Oyo State Government has been working round the clock to make sure that the fight against Covid -19 yield a positive result.
I am also aware that Oyo State Government has made provisions for those that have been tested positive by providing them an isolation centers the as advised by NCDC.
But that is not enough..!
As individuals , we all have roles to play. We remain a sophisticated weapon to fight and send away this pandemic.
We need to maintain a proper and personal hygiene more than before. We should make sure we wash our hands regularly with clean water and soap.
We should maintain a social distancing as advised by NCDC to prevent the further spread of this deadly disease.
We should make sure we cover our mouth , nose with tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing and strictly adhering to infection prevention.
Lastly , to stay safe , we should all abide to the stay at home directive as instructed by the federal and State government.
Through this , we can win this battle against Covid -19 .

Yes is real but what help government can do for us my Hon please no work no food they tell us to stay at home... Without nothing.
